Hadaya Global and (DIS)PLACED: Life As A Tent City Refugee

December 1, 2017

Guest: Jennifer MacDonald and Vanessa Bell, co-founders of Hadaya Global and creators of the photography exhibit (DIS)PLACED: Life as a Tent City Refugee.

In 2014, during a trip to the Middle East in 2014, Jennifer saw an unmet need among the refugee children. Thus, she and Vanessa started Hadaya Global to address “the overlooked needs of displaced children worldwide through creativity and play, providing them with books, developmental toys, art supplies and educational opportunities.” Jennifer and Vanessa provide an inspirational story about how they are working to make a difference in the lives of people they see as members of the one Humanity.
