Lives given in service: Protecting the Brazilian rainforest and the rights of the poor

For 32 years Sr. Nancy served as a missionary in the Brazilian rainforest. In addition to her work for the Diocese, she now lectures widely on climate change, deforestation, the Creation Care Alliance and the impact of the life of Sr. Dorothy Stang, a nun who was assassinated in 2005 while working to defend the rights of the poor and the environment in the Amazon Rainforest.
