McNair Ezzard - Host
I know that people can - and are - changing our world for the better. My hope is to shine a spotlight on some of these great people and their organizations, giving more exposure to their amazing work.
I am originally from North Carolina and after living in Colorado and California over the years, have returned to NC and settled near Asheville.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a degree in Radio, Film and Television production. I then received my graduate degree from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver.
Spirituality has always been a big part of my life. I am an ordained Protestant minister, as well as studying a variety of different spiritual teachings. During my career, I have served as director of pastoral care in hospice, in health care and non-profit administration.
My wife Deb and I have been well trained by our rescue Border Collie mix, Jasper.
I enjoy growing and eating organic veggies (mostly eating) and spend time meditating, reading, writing, hiking and cheering for Tarheel basketball.
