"We've created a more dangerous world...and we've watched war become the answer to every question." - Jodie Evans

Founded in 2002, CODEPINK is a women-led non-profit, grassroots organization that has worked to bring an end to U.S. wars and militarism and the war economy. Whether it's helping build local peace economies, supporting Palestinian rights, working to redirect tax dollars into healthcare, green jobs and other life-affirming programs CODEPINK has become a worldwide network of people committed to working for peace and social justice.

Our guest is Jodie Evans. Among her accomplishments, she is co-founder of CODEPINK and a producer of documentary films including The Square which captured the 2011-2012 democratic uprisings in Egypt.
