"We bereaved are not alone. We belong to the largest company
in all the world - the company of those who have known suffering." - Helen Keller
Grief is a universal experience. If we love, we will someday grieve. And we never fully get over the loss of a loved one. The hole within our heart will remain. There is no quick fix to the pain and "the challenging effects of grief can extend far into one's life to varying degrees." But grief doesn't have to be the end of us. We can learn to live again, if we give grieving its due. Join us as we talk with our guests, Pamela D. Blair and Bradie McCabe Hansen, about their book, The Long Grief Journey: How Long-Term Unresolved Grief Can Affect Your Mental Health and What to Do About It, a book "designed to educate, support, and coach you to rekindle a desire to live life fully, all while still cherishing and embracing the memories of your loved one."
