Heartfelt Haywood works to increase the community’s resilience in the face of grief and loss. The mission of the nonprofit, based in Western North Carolina, is to build a capacity for compassion for people who are grieving and dying, as well as for the caregivers and organizations that support them, ensuring that no one dies or grieves alone. It started with a group of individuals who saw a need for a community based approach to end-of-life care that reached across organizational lines, and today their work includes Healing Hearts Camps for children, Grief Gatherings, Creative Healing Workshops and other activities for those in need.

Our guests are Peter Constantian, co-founder and executive director and Patrick Davis, co-founder & board president.
