Pax Christi International is a Catholic peace movement of 120 organizations worldwide addressing peace, human rights, justice, reconciliation. It works to address the root causes and destructive consequences of violent conflict and war.
Marie has served on the White House Task Force on Global Poverty and Development and authored or co-authored seven books, including Oscar Romero: Reflections on His Life and Writings. She is a contributing editor to Sojourners magazine.
